CAMERON BEAL WINS JACE BUGG SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD
The Jace Bugg Sportsmanship Award is presented annually to a member of the Pepsi Junior Golf Tour who best exemplifies the values and spirit of true sportsmanship on and off the course. The award is named in honor of the late Jace Bugg of Henderson who was diagnosed with leukemia in late 2002 after winning the Nationwide Tour's Arkansas Classic. Jace passed away on December 4, 2003 at the age of 27.
Cameron Beal of Bowling Green was awarded this year's award at the Tournament of Champions' Awards Luncheon. Over the course of 2007, Cameron displayed sportsmanship with golf course staff, KGA-PGA Inc. staff, players, and parents.
